I have a roll of canada pennies i just opened.. half 1940's and the other half 70's and 80's what year did they stop making the copper pennies
Sorry, but the articles are worth the time to read if you are going to do this stuff. 1996 is the date, but it doesn't tell you as much as you need to know. IMHO I mean the article, gave all the di varieties, size and composition changes. I thought if you were searching Canadian copper, you might want to know more thin gs to look for.
no need to be sorry.. thats why I thanked them for the great info and read it was very informative,at the time I was just sorting pennies,but when I read about the history it made me stop and think. Thanks again!
