    I am an electrician and i was digging a trench and found this coin
    Please let me know if you have ANY idea of where/when or how much its worth

    It is counterstamped on a Brazilian 80 Reis coin.These pieces are extremely popular with Brazilian coin collectors.

    Here is a slightly better copy of 40 on 80 Reis from the Rio mint 1826, i have a nice littl collection of them :)

    :hug: Thanks Bone LOL I have about 20 or so pre 1900 Brazilian copper and a few silver quite a few of the earlier ones are Counter stamped :thumb:
