1944 D, obstruction or PMD?

I have had this coin for years and it looks like it may be a struck through obstruction.

Looks like it was just gouges to me. I'm not sure, but the coin looks kinda funky to me... it might just be the white balance in the picture though.

 

It does look like it, but I can't say for sure. Still, that's a very cool coin.

 

Actually, the ERT look shifted up, so it might just be a PMD gouge which has had 60+ years to blend in with the color of the coin.

 

Where did this big tease go anyway?
