[IMG][/IMG]Hi,

Could anyone give me an idea of the grade for this 1908 $5 Indian? What would be a fair price for this coin and should I get it graded by PCGS? Thanks for any help.

I'm going by just the OBVERSE, but based on that I'll say XF-40.

I'd grade a gVF to aEF...

Based on the pics it appears the coin has BU details, but it is badly scratched and would likely be considered as damaged by PCGS & NGC.

I'd like to know how much this will go for as well, as I'd like to pick one up, but don't want to pay for something in perfect condition.

I was thinking about selling it. I am eyeing another coin. The only way I would sell it would be on ebay. I want to make sure I get my money and I want to make sure the purchaser recieves the coin.

It is still pretty nice. All the details show on it well.

I'd say about $300 - unless gold continues to tank.
