put a post in the wanted section of the forum, and add some trusted sellers with high feeback and a high % to your favorite sellers on ebay, and just keep checking their inventory.

I'm very new to coins and have only bought from dealers in the last few months (yeah, I started at peak ). Then I take them home and look closely with a loupe, weigh them and check with a magnet. I can't get more serious than that. Point 2, I'm more interested in other types, now, edited

ETA: just saw that link...$14! Whoa, I can't do that low. I also saw a link for a $20 Morgan...I see what you mean about being suspect. I'm not on E-bay (yet?), so I can't comment further on all that.

 

It looks ok. The seller has good reputation on there, but I would wait for a higher grade one.

 

That's one ugly Peace dollar Ricky.. stay away from that one.

And stay away from auctions that don't have pics of both sides, much less the whole coin...case in point that second link.

The '21 has been wiped but I like the look and the strike.
