I have this coin, with arabic script. Looks Egyptian, but I was unable to find it
in KM.

I think it is Yemen.

 

No, it's not Yemen. I found it just now. It's 50 piastres from Syria (I thought all Syrian coins have 3 stars on
the arab eagle's shield, but it looks like I was mistaken.

Has both the Islamic date (1396) and the western date (1976). Seems a few of the Arab countries do that now... I have some coins from Qatar and Kuwait that do that.

 

Try UAR they used a similar device on there coinage (Union of Syria & Egypt)
