1958 D penny

    I have a 1958 D with from what I can see has a completly filled in B in liberty.Is this rare or not?. I will see if I can post a picture of it.

    it almost looks like an S and B on top of each other and its copper filled..my stepfather is a photographer and will take the pictures in the morning

    Without photos we can only guess but based on your description it sounds like a filled letter which is caused by a minor die chip. Filled letters are fairly common and command no premium.
