I found this in a Take-A-Penny Leave-A-Penny dish in a local Mexican restaurant. It is shiny silver like a dime but a bit smaller than a dime without a reeded edge. It is as thin as a dime with a lot of detail that a real buffalo nickel would have. Any idea where it might have originated? Coin show? Numismatic organization? Novelty shop?

It could be from a game or from jewelry.

I don't know if a game or Jewelry would bother to put the word COPY across the front. It's not cheaply made like a game piece either. I'm at a loss.

They don't have a choice, by law they would have to. Hobby Protection Act of 1973.
