45 mercury dime sealed

    1945 mercury dime sealed in plastic like it was graded can't read much of what was printed on plastic can make out extra fine and something 800 thas all. SAM_0240 (800x600).jpg SAM_0242 (800x600).jpg

    It may have come from Littleton. That's how they package some of their coins (or so I am told).

    This. Pretty sure it's from littleton. Not worth anything over melt value, so $2.40 or whatever melt is running these days.

    Extra fine is probably the grade, but it may not be reliable. The 800 might be a 900, as in .900, the silver fineness of the coin.

    800 is the catalog number I believe. My wheat cent from them I got for 10 cents from a flea market says 875.00 and thats not the price.
