It would have been nice to stay up top for a little while, but I had already hiked it twice over the summer. One time I was up there for sunrise...I'll post a pic of that when I get home from work
That is a nice view of New Hampshire ! :smile That is a nice view of New Hampshire ! I used to live at 6,200 ft on Fallen Leaf Lake. That is Lake Tahoe depicted in the distance. It was a good climate for coin collecting but the nearest coin shop was far away in Reno.
Collect that is a really awesome view. Here is the sunrise I mentioned earlier. Most beautiful thing I've ever seen, tops the Grand Canyon. Although, I'd bet that sunrise at the Grand Canyon beats this.
The photos stir-up some good memories When that big red ball rises in the sky, the radiation can warm you up & keep you alive. Conversely, when it begins to set and a mountain casts its shadow on you, it certainly can get cold quickly. Thanks for posting the photos.
You guys are lucky. Here in the city the only time you see the sun is when the skyscrapers are not blocking it. And now it gets dark at 4 pm.
