Here's a coin (15mm, 6 grams) that I've had for a couple years and really enjoy (no intent to sell). But I haven't been able to find out much about it, despite looking where I can for others like it. Since there aren't any legible characters, only a bust on each side, I'm turning to CoinTalk to see if anyone is familiar with this type. (Those busts are haunting me! So different in style from each other, I really want to know who/what they are.)

My best guess, based on style, is one of the holy land or other eastern kingdoms under Greek or Roman rule (ca. 1st BC - 3rd AD??). But that's just a guess .

Any ideas, leads, suggestions, comments, thoughts, etc. will be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance

    Thank you, Mat.

I realized after posting this thread that I asked about the same coin here 1 year ago (apparently the "Similar Threads"-finding-algorithm works well, since it popped right up!) and on another forum. Unusual for it to take me so long to ID a coin. Looking back on it, I notice the measurement that makes this coin seem more attractive to me than many bronze and silver coins that cost much more (only $5 for this one in a dealer's "bargain bin"): It's up to 4mm thick in places.

I'll keep perusing to see if I see something similar
