near-error 1974

    the only older-series bill from Friday's bank outing:

    $1 1974 B61660053D
    Very wide right and bottom margins, but the left and top margins aren't quite cut off.
    Black overprint (Fed seal and district numbers) seem to be in the usual
    location. Green overprint (serials and Treasury seal) shifted downwards. Left serial doesn't quite cut into the Treasury signature, and the right serial doesn't quite cut into the 'Washington, D.C.'

    A pic would help, but also know that series 1974 and 1977 notes seem to have the most abundance of errors from any series I have seen. So the odds are that it could be something based on that fact alone.
