I was searching thru some Fed rolls, and came accross this Die Break. I didn't know what it was when I first saw it, I just know it looked odd. Then I threw the coin to the side until 2 coins later I found the exact same thing. I actually found 9 total in the roll. It starts at the top edge runs down thru the tourch, and then down the arm. Any idea on what the value might be? Thx
Most die cracks are fairly common and don't warrant much of a premium unless there is substantial metal displacement. Chris
I agree with Chris. I have a 47 Washington, MS65, with a die crack on both sides, I still paid 65 price without the die cracks.
