Lately I have been watching far too much of the AAN. Now I don`t expect to actually see any legit deals on their coin auctions, but I do expect them to at least adhere to general auction rules. Allow me to explain.....Am I the only one who has noticed that their countdown whether either verbal or on screen clock is completely pointless? I have seen the auctioneer countdown to zero only to pause for an additional 5-15 seconds! The same goes for their "last call" crap.....another 10 seconds later. By this point I`m yelling "JUST SAY SOLD ALREADY!!!!!" :loud: I understand about the 7 second delay when dealing with live TV, but I have seen them countdown to 0 and sell the coin asap when THEY are in a hurry. Sorry about what may seem to be a pointless rant, but it`s after 3am here on the east coast, I`m tired but yet curious to know if I`m the only person who wants to go on the AAN set and evict those wanna be auctioneer bums with their antics?
Kind of fun to watch sometimes but I would keep it at that. I like to record some of these coins shows and watch them in the morning to get my blood pumping. De-caff coffee just does not do it for me.
