Unknown Coin - Help?

    The writing is not in the English alphabet.
    One side features a castle with three towers and a crest on top of it. The castle also has rays extending from it.
    The other side has a young man's face facing left and he is wearing a necklace and three medals.

    If it is any help, I don't think the symbols/lettering is an Asian language.

    Post if you have any idea what coin this could be - I have been searching all over the internet with no luck...

    A Thai Bhat I do believe. So the characters are from an Asian language. Do some searches for Thai Bhat and see if you can ID the coin now.

    Your coin was minted in 1950. Mine - in 1957.
