Grading Help with 1925 Peace Dollar

Hello - as I said in my previous thread, my brother came for Thanksgiving and may send in this 25 Peace Dollar with his ASE 25th submission we are sending on Friday.

Any thoughts on the grade? The guy he bought it from thought it was an MS65, but he only paid MS62 money.

What do you think the grade would be from NGC?

My opinion, 62 money is high.

 

Have to agree looks a lot like a few of the 58's I have.

 

I'm leaning toward AU too. I wouldn't submit it for grading because it will cost you much more than what the coin is worth.

 

I'll have to dig out the sheets and see what AU money is.

 

The coin looks no better than MS62 and is probably AU. Either way, it is not worth having graded.

And I doubt that the seller really thought it was MS65, yet sold it for MS 62 money.
