I am going to another show this weekend and i will be making several purchases. I generally just carry the coins i buy in my shirt pocket but this time i am buying more and more expensive ones. How do most of you carry your coins around, do you use a bag? I do see people with fanny packs and shoulder bags at the shows ... whats everyone's particular choice when it comes to this?

Carry a small bag that can zip. Like a money bag. Coins can fall out of pockets

I use an old backgammon case that has a nice leather cover. It is felted inside, so it protects the coins, and opens and shuts like a suitcase. I bought it at goodwill for 3 dollars.

Try out a man purse, or what people call a murse or satchel.

My bodyguard carries my purchases. He uses a small metal attache case handcuffed to his wrist. He also looks like Joe Pesci.

I've never bought more than a half-dozen or so coins at a coin show, so as long as they're in a secure holder I just put them in my pocket.

I am the same. At coin shows I am usually buying "better" coins, so only buy a few at most.

I have seen "vest pocket dealers" use briefcases with locks. Seems to be a good setup, with room for price lists, want lists, etc, plenty of room for coins, and good locks on them. I have even seen reference books being carried in them. If I were a serious buyer/seller, I believe I would replicate this setup.

We must of all been to the same school at one time. The few shows I've been to that worked with a blue box or two of sellers to go out and purchases coming back. Also a good place to have the want list, check book, and all the other tools of the game.
