What did you do to your coin collection today?

ive seen this on a few other forums im a member of and i was curious how well it would do here. so here it goes!
just post something you did to your collection today!


i scanned a few more coins into my computer and sorted out a few more wheats to go into 2x2's in my book!
what did you guys do today?

I cataloged several coins I bought this week into my ProCoin software database :yes:

 

I switched out pieces in my Type Set for the upgrades I bought from the Santa Clara show.

 

I worked on my Irish political counterstamp collection Cody. Finished up a short paper I was writing in regard to undocumented issues of the 1939/1940 IRA Sabotage Campaign against the British Government. Also had an e-mail exchange with an Irish collector in Belfast who has a small collection I'm trying to buy. A nice lazy day working on my "stuff".

I filled out a PCGS application.

 

I did nothing

 

I put an uncirculated 1968-S penny I found into it.

 

I looked over some proof sets I picked up yesterday, proof set prices are really low right now. Plus I did some roll searching. One wheatie a 48 d. I sort of put off a lot of what I should be doing with the collection, I am sort of counting on building up enough of a backlog of things to do with it, that it will be a cheap retirement hobby

 

I thought about my collection while watching football.

 

I thought about coins while watching my 2 month old. Other than that just posting here.

 

I modified two areas of my display cases to include a few new items I just aquired.

 

i put a 2005 and a 2007 one troy ounce silver eagles into my collection saturday!

 

I won two auctions off eBay, 2007 and 2008 partial uncirculated mint sets to acquire the presidential dollars for the presidential dollar collection I'm putting together, which worked out nicely, I paid pretty much $1 for each coin when said and done. These sets were missing the quarters (I already have the state quarters in an album) so these were perfect acquisitions. Not sure what I'm gonna do with the other coins though. I'll likely keep the Kennedy Halves. Perhaps the others will just go into the kids piggy banks.

 

Picked up a new coin Andorra 25 Diners 1997 over wknd, put it in a air-tite and catalogued it.

 

I edited 14 photos and posted them to two of my NGC Registry sets. I think I have time for a few more before Monday Night Football.

I would be at home organizing my wheats and going thru old albums but I'm stuck at work from 7am-7pm today
