OOPS, I see that double ear now. Coin looks to be XF and that should bring 25+ is my guess. Course I don't collect errors, so what do I know. Great collectable though I'd keep it since it's in decent shape just out of circulation and all. Great Find!
Eventhough the one on e-bay appears to be a MS and GrimReaper's is circulated I see that the Reaper's coin has a much better DDO. It goes all the way to the beard giving Lincoln a double chin, ha ha. I was just wondering doesn't that make it a better error then the MS with less of a DDO?
Grim reaper's is much better IMO since it is the Redbook variety, the one in the link was likely sold to someone who didn't know what they were buying and bought a lesser variety just because it was listed with a high price. The "real" 84 DDO is the one that our member found, not the one on eBay.

That is the big one on the 1984 cent. As you guys know, there are others on the 1984 and 1984 D cents. This one is nice find. With all the stuff I've found, I still have not yet found a 1984 Doubled Ear variety! This one is probably in the 100.00 to 150.00 range. On ebay, there is a wider spread. Congratulations, Bill
