Found me a real nice shape Large Cent dirt diggin today

    Found this large cent and a nice 1865 Indian head penny to boot plus a neat old button.
    Here they be before a cleaning and after. The large cent really cleaned up nice.

    Great finds very neat! I havn't found any coins pre 1910 but the hunt will never end! Congratz and happy hunting!

    Congrats Jimmiejam, great finds. where did you dig them? Could you post a pic of the reverse of the button so I could see the backmark. Some of the button manufacturers also counterstamped coins with their backmarks. Thanks.
