A circulation find that I purchased (at face) from a member (IguanaGirl) over at the "Where's George" currency forum. I told her I collect serial #12, and was delighted to add it to my collection.

Take a hundred dollar bill to the bank and ask for all 1's and you may get one.:smile

I've only gotten skunked once on a 100 strap, otherwise, I'll find roughly 1-2 star notes per circulated 100
    pack of $1's.

I know at least one member here collects notes with serial #'s1-8 (not just ladders). This is his ugly sister the 3-10

    Tbud,

It sounded better using the 0 as a 10. Maybe to much of a stretch. :smile

Today's $100 find was much better.

This is my first $100 from 1981 A.

That sure is nicer than the only 1981A $100 I found. Mine was a K and not nearly as nice condition as yours. How do you get it?

I got it at work today. A customer used it to buy food yesterday, but lucky for me it was still in the store today.

That's what's called a Super-Radar. It's also a Binary and if I'm not mistaken, it could also be known as a near-solid or at least a 6 in-a-row note. Very nice. I'm guessing that this note is Series 2006? What is the condition of the note? Was it a circulation find?

Here's A couple I rescued from the wild. I am starting to find a lot of 1988A but most aren't in very good shape. As for the 1977 $10. I just love the look of the older bills.

earlier this week i found a 2006 series $20 SOI press note with a pretty low serial number. with the exception of a horizontal fold, it's in pretty good shape as well.

One of them's even a Barr! Very nice finds! Do you keep all of the 1963 $1's you see? If you are ever interested in selling at face, let me know.;)

I keep all older style bills anyways and for $1's I keep Series 1993 and earlier. Nice $10. Oddly enough, I had just picked up a very nice 1977 BA: B31672326A in almost the same condition as yours! That's kind strange haha.:) I always wonder about big corporations conterfeiting lots of $ and distributing the cash in their stores all around the US and making fake old style bills...

i have been keeping everything pre-1990 that i can afford to keep, which so far has excluded everything larger than $20 notes. of all the older dates i have, 1963 seems to be the most available. i probably have about a dozen in various denominations.

if i ever decide they're not worth hanging on to, i'll look you up!
