awesome contest and would love to take part but as of today by status still says backordered and expected to ship, ahem 11/28. i certainly hope it doesn't get to the wire and then it falls through

 

I ordered a set at it was stated as shipped, but the tracking information has not been available for three days now and beginning to get worried. In the even that it does not arrive, I would like to enter the contest. I tried skipping lunch at school to order it but coudln't do it in time for psychology. My dad was able to get through at 2:46.

 

why put in interest when you can have the satisfaction of donating to me?

 

That is a real nice thing to do. I will NOT be entering this contest, only because I would flip it. Got to be honest with you. I don't have a set. I have a couple of ASE's from the '80s, but they don't speak to me, so I don't collect them. I did not order them, and my reaction to them selling out is that I should have bought them --- just to flip.

There you go....more opportunities for someone else that really would like to have one.

Well I spoke with customer service again and they cancelled BOTH my orders (even though I only placed one order and the Mint gave me 2 different order numbers?) and they're "seeing what they can do" possibly put on the waiting list which as far as I know does not exist...

My favorite set, ASE's looks to be coming to a close, first no proof last year now this. What's this world coming to?
I still have my peanut butter ripple I guess.

I spent 5 hours on the computer and phone on the 27th, getting through on my slow internet connection was a challenge but the real aggravation was trying to stay connected to the mint site. I have a higher order # with little to no chance it will be filled. I would like to be part of your contest please.

I didn't get to the mint's website on the day of sale. I guess I was naive in thinking I would just order it a day or so later. I've always been fond of the reverse proof that appeared in the 2006 set, so I was hoping this would be my chance to get a reverse proof. Unfortunately on the day of sale, it appeared the mint sold out quickly. Not really angry at the Mint, but rather at flippers, but I won't get into that...lol

I completely missed the sales date on this and have been kicking myself. I love coins and have collected avidly since inheriting my late father's collection in March 2009 (having collected when I was a boy years ago). The coins are a connection to my father and have been that way since he has passed. I would LOVE an opportunity to add this to my collection!!! Thanks for the opportunity!
