Grade My 1909 Lincoln Cent

    Hi. I would like to know everybody else's opinion on the grade of this coin. Using PCGS Photograde, I am thinking along the lines of XF-40
    Your opinion?

    Looks like a rim nick.

    I wasn't quite sure as it doesn't seem to flatten the rim at the edge from that angle.. Perhaps it is from the flat part of the rim at that point..

    I like it though.. nice to see a non VDB or S or S-VDB 1909..

    I would think more like a 30 or maybe a 35.

    I'd give it a vf also. Too many nicks in the critical areas and the rim bump.
     
  10. I would grade it as lucky.Hard to get that old without a few bumps unless your owner of many years was rich and kept you locked away in a box.
