Hey Merc, for us new guys (and I did check the post on Numismatic Acronyms) what does "CAC'ed" and OGH stand for? And for that matter, what is a rattler?

ogh stands for old green holder, rattler is another pcgs holder. Cac'ed means the coin has the cac seal of approval(same as some saying a green beanie or gold beanie). Here is a site on slabs - http://www.sampleslabs.com/pcgs.html

I picked this up today at the International Currency and Coin Show in Chicago. It's in an NGC slab graded as PF62. The mintage on these was only 2,558. I have a MS61 from this year graded by ANACS as well.

Very nice one cent you picked up!!

 

Picked this one up a couple of weeks ago.

 

Deal fell through. Mostly because I changed my mind... I'm going to try and hold out for one that is struck better.

My first mint state brown cent! All my others are red so I like this one as it adds a nice little chocolate to the mix!
