I got an email from the Money Store with the release date, and quantities available. I have all of the "Lucky Money", and "Prosperity" notes/sheets printed so far.....can't stop now.
I went over to the BEP website to check this out, and while there, I noticed a note below the $2 currency sheets which read: "The projected availability of $2 uncut currency sheets for the Public Sales Program is for Spring 2012. The time frame is an estimate and is subject to change." This is good news to me, because, as a fan of the $2, I've been looking forward to some kind of timeline, for when the new series will be printed. Can't wait for the new $2's! :thumb:
Steve, the only set I have is the lucky money 888 set. Jlg, thanks for pointing that out. I too am a fan of the $2 note
I wonder if the new $2 notes will be out by then. Maybe there will finally be some $2 lucky money. Unfortunately, I think $2 note production will not be ready that early.
They did but it was part of the 3 note set which is currently sold out. Had a $1(2006 A/1), $2(2003A H/8), $5(2003 F/6) with matching lucky 888's serial number. Those $2 notes do pretty good just in the year sets and uncuts! Like the 2011 year set selling out quicker than snot? I did get a Deuce, 2009, & 2010 set, but the 2011 was gone quicker than the 25 Anv set!
