Thanks Ace, you said it man, pneumonia is no joke. They say it take months to get over it and get all your energy back. The break was nice.

    2 boxes of dimes
    box 1: 3 silver roosies
box 2: not done with it but its mostly all 2011D's and only a few other years. Probably going to just take the rest in unsearched and get quarters this time.

    Are the Canadian worth anything?

    240 in CWR halves. 2-40%
150 in CWR dimes. 1 -1964 rosie, 4 post '68 canadian (which i was about to turn in!) Do you hold it for the nickel??

bank kept pushing me off on ordering boxes. just opened an account with 5th 3rd and put in a standing order for 2 boxes of halves a week. they seemed more than happy to help!!

Found $103 in CWR and Loose at bank - Skunk. Already searched and wrappers had a marker streak on the outside.
Box of Dimes - Skunk (Mostly 2011)
    Box of Halves:

    1 x 1937 Walker
    1 x 1969 Kennedy!

    I'll take it....

2 boxes of nickels, quite a few nice BU's, including the nicest nickel I've ever found, a remarkably clean, satiny '00-P that I would grade at 67+. Other notable BU's were several from '65 and earlier, including a low-MS '39. Also pulled a dateless buff and a war nick.

1st box of halves = skunk
2nd box of halves = skunk
3rd box of halves = skunk

1st box of dimes = skunk
    2nd box of dimes = 2 roosies: '54 & '56

Pretty slow week. Did seven boxes of halves and was skunked on all. Dimes slowed down as well.

2 boxes of dimes, 1 skunk, 1 with 1 roosie.

    Definite slow down.

Not so much a roll, but in change the other day I got a 1973-S quarter. Not silver, but my 1st proof-in-circulation find! When I got it (at Subway - not for me!!), something just seemed 'strange' about it ...

No banks are open here in my area. Not only can I not cash my check I can't pick up or dump coin. I wish I realized all that yesterday.

One of my banks didn't order, one ordered three and gave all three to some other dude :( , so I'll only get two boxes this weekend. I picked up one of them yesterday and it had only 1 silver, but at least it was a 1964 :)

OK, so I'm finally curious enough to ask what path coins take after they leave the dump bank. In my neck of the woods they go to a fed branch in El Paso Texas- I think. I saw the teller write "Fed, El Paso" on a bag- but I'll have to look as I only knew of the Dallas branch. So they go to the fed branch, then what? Do they get re-rolled there in the N.F. String wrappers and re boxed so I can look thru the same coins again? I realize I should probably do my own research by putting marker coins in my dumps, but what have some of you more experienced roll searchers found? The reason I ask is that my halves used to be like 5, 8, 11, 17 silvers per box and rolls of NIFC, now skunked 7 boxes in a row other than a '68 in the last box. I don't think they're the exact same coins b/c I still find some things I would have pulled. I hate complaining about finding free money, just frustrated and getting paranoid that they're out to get me!:p BTW, could a bank conspire with the coin rollers to make it hard for a roll searcher if they wanted to? Anyway, I might just cool it on the halves for a while and goto dimes, wait for the dimes to go bad and repeat. Not a beginner, but been hunting long enough to notice that I had beginner's luck.

Edit: Found that the Dallas branch has El Paso, San Antonio, and Houston branches.

If you were getting 5, 8, 11, 17 per box, consider yourself EXTREMELY lucky. I published stats recently that showed that over the last 2 years, I've averaged 3.25 silvers per box.

I've had streaks like yours before (my worst was 13 skunks in a row).....the key is consistency.
