Let me have 'em! Thinking about slabbing this one. I hate seeing an MS CC not in a slab. Worth slabbing?

It is MS...but the damage on the nose would not fly at PCGS. they would say damage ungradable.

I think it is MS Details as well, but I really like the textile toning on the obverse. It's unusual to see one without the color.

    Coin will grade problem free.
Shell get a 61 or 60. Defintely worth sending her in.
The hit on her nose will bring her down a point or two.

I can't see that grading problem free.. For one thing it looks like a rather deep gash on her nose... Plus the gashes on the Eagle Breast on the reverse.

I was wondering what that was on the obverse. So that is the bag tone from the Treasury bag?

MS62- Deep abrasions on cheek. Textile (bag) dirt. Moderate bag marks in fields of the obverse and reverse. Even with that hit on the nose, I believe it'd still get a TPG grade... Though, they'll most likely dock it a point. So 'MS62 - 1 = MS61'

I agree with Mark. Looks like an old GSA crack out. I vote MS62 as well tho I accidentally hit the MS63 button.

MS-62 maybe 63 but Ngc or Pcgs may not like the bag thread toning on cheek.

I have no doubt it would grade, but I wouldn't send it in. This is one of those coins that if sold would be better left raw. Why ? Well, never underestimate people's willingness to gamble, especially on a coin that has a bit of uniqueness as this one does - that bit of light textile toning.

Couple that with the gambling aspect that people will think the coin might go 63 and you would net more on a raw sale than you would if you had it graded.
