I felt the "dangs" would be a grade higher, and was surprised none of my 50's got a 67,, I guess they don't hand 67's to 50's very easily, there were a couple of very nice one's in there. 96 and 97d were for fun, I need to figure out how to grade memorials...
I have another in pcgs and is almost identical to this one...dunno. Maybe Ngc is currently grading tougher than normal,, thier backlog looks high enough. High backlog = tough grades?.. or just luck of the draw. From what I've seen so far they are grading right at what I'd grade them or even tougher, which is not +1 grading. Could also be optimistic owner bias on my side... The 33 has a spot on the neck, on the top of the head, and on the reverse at noon'sih by the rim. detail and lack of hits warrants a 66, I figured spots would net -1 to 65 but I guess three of them = -2 to 64. I'm ok with the grades, but hoped for a high side grade or two. Very few of those in my submissions to date and have run out of good raw candidates except for a small batch of world coins that a good shot at top pop from what I can see,,,, that said, I know nothing of grading world coins... haha. Was also hoping for an AU60'something on the 24s.. dang it. I have 3 more batches queued up, probably gonna put in one more small lot and then done for good spell. Maybe I'll post the last lot candidates before sending them in,,, could save me some $ ....
Still wondering....why don't you break these up and list them one at a time before you submit. It might save you some money if we can give you grade opinions before you send them in.
Too late for most of them,, but this last lot I'll probably do just that... But most of my better raw stuff is already sent in. I have a few modern that caught my eye and may have a shot at 67'ish.. I'll post those and see what the members think.... probably won't be able to get a definitive 67 due to my picture taking ability, but I think I could definitely get feedback regarding coin attributes that would prevent a 67 for sure.
Maybe the bag mark/hit in the reverse field at 6 o'clock? In my research/studying so far in 60+ grading, I would think that a hit like that would disqualify for high 60s, unless marks like that are not typically taken into account.

Bahabully why arent you buying ones preslabbed vice taking the time to send in raw coins.
Hey Shoe, The actuals are already in, posted within my reply to RLM in the quoted part of my reply. As you agree with RLM, you did fine ; ) If you are asking why I'm submitting vs. buying slabbed, the answer is that for the most part (excluding some fun stuff I sent in), it's way cheaper. Around a decade ago I was buying raw from the 'bay going after putting together a nicer raw set,, nothing crazy, but nice. The days of plentiful quality raw cents on the 'bay has long past... I've decided to break up that old set and slab the stuff worth slabbing and some that have nicer eye appeal to me. The idea being to keep them in a better environment, and to also put them in a seal that captures a better return (even after the slab fee) should I ever decide to let them go in my old age, if I ever do, which I doubt.... so they'll also be in something that is better suited for passing to my children vs. a bunch of raw coins.
67's for most moderns are tough, tough grades. Coin has to be very clean with blazing, and I mean blazing!, luster. Going to be tough to call from a photo.... All IMO of course. p.s. I graded the first coin a 40, then scrolled down and saw the actual grades....so gave up. p.s.s. that 33d in 64 appears to be a low grade. after studying the photo, I suspect the coin was held back by the chatter on the rims, as it is apparently fairly clean and lustrous, moreso that I would expect a 64 to be.
I understand and agree with you. One dayI would like to do the same thing but sometimes I just dont think it would be worth it. maybe I will just go ahead and get the nerve to do it.
