MS62/63- Luster is muted. Deep abrasion at 11 o' clock. Photo makes cheek look somewhat impaired, so it may be a 63. -Brian
Good day.......MS64. Bad day........MS63. There are just enough nicks and dings on her face and brow plus that nasty gouge at 10:00 in the field that may just keep this at the lower grade. Chris
63 - good day or bad day. The '81-S is one of those coins that has to be exceptional to get the same grade that another date/mint would get. In other words the '81-S is graded to a different standard.
Doug, a good day in my way of thinking is that all the graders who examined this coin had appointments with an eye doctor and their pupils were still dilated. LOL! Chris
