I just purchased these three coins, and I'm really pleased to have gotten them at the prices I did. The first two came from a seller in Australia and the last came from one of my most trusted sellers in Spain. It will take a couple of weeks to get the coins so these images are the sellers images. I just wanted to show them off and get comments.

The first coin is an AE Fraction of Maximianus RIC VI 46b:

OBV: IMP C M A MAXIMIANVS P F AVG, radiate, draped & cuirassed bust right
REV: CONCORDIA MILITVM, emperor standing right in military dress, short sceptre in left hand, receiving Victory on globe from Jupiter standing left, holding sceptre; Delta between, ALE in ex

The second coin is a Pagan Commemorative Quarter-Nummus I have attributed to Maximinus II Daia, Vagi 2955:

OBV: IOVI CONSERVATORI, Jupiter seated left holding globe & sceptre
REV: VICTORIA AVGG, Victory advancing left with wreath & palm, officina letter to right, ANT in ex.

The third coin is an AE Centenionalis of Decentius RIC 215,G:

OBV: D N DECENTIVS NOB CAES, cuirassed bust right, Gamma behind
REV: VICT DD NN AVG ET CAES, two Victories standing facing each other holding shield inscribed VOT/V/MVLT/X, RS in ex

The first coin has maybe the best portrait I own on a base metal coin. The second coin is probably the most interesting and the first I've seen for sale of these coins. They are common, but I just haven't seen them before. Doug provided me with a history at these two links: http://www.forumancientcoins.com/dougsmith/voc5.html and http://www.coinproject.com/search_emperor.php?emp=Pagan-Coinage-of-the-Tetrarchy&city=&type=3.

All three are great but I especially like the details & overall look on the Maximianus.

The second one I actually havent seen before either, interesting stuff. Took a look on Vcoins for one and decent ones are pricey

Yeah, I did the same prior to bidding on this coin. Believe me when I say I did not pay what the sellers on Vcoins are asking. I set a limit and this time I stuck to it. I'm not always so good at that. But I did get this coin for a great price. Actually all three coins were in the same price range. I too like the looks of the Maximainus. I very pleased overall (I guess you can tell, eh?).

The pagans are something you need to buy from a dealer that thinks they are just another common bronze. I have paid $6 to $60 (not a common one) but see them for much more when stocked by dealers that think they are rarities like the Festival of Isis coins (of which I have none). Both are out there if you wait. The two easy types are not rare. Of these three, I consider it the least appealing but it is not a bad specimen compared to many offered.
