NGC Quality Control

    does anyone know how long it usually takes coins to leave NGC's "quality control" step in their grading process? thanks,

    Depends on the type of coin, the value/rarity and the service you selected.

    About .03 seconds if its one of the thousand per day going to be sold on TV
    if its for you or me they will get around to it sooner or later

    Red, you really can't put an average on QC. Sometimes, the coin will pass inspection (and grade review) with no questions asked while other times it might get sent back for further consideration. Relax, have a cold beer and quit looking out the window for the mail carrier.

    Also depends upon if there were any recent LARGE shows.
    TPG's get backlogged during and right after shows like that.
