    Haven't posted much lately

Hey all - I haven't posted much lately due to my vacation last week and ramping back into the work week. As of yesterday, I had gone through 12 boxes of Halves and found 2 - 40%ers from 2 out of the last 3. So, the end of October was really slow compared to my beginning.

Today I got two more boxes of Halves:

    Box 1 - Skunk
    Box 2 - take a look

    1 x Walker
5 x Ben's (a 1960 that is almost perfect...can see his hair and the crack in the Liberty Bell)
    2 x 40%er Ken's

    ----and----

1 x 1964 Washington Quarter from the reject bin at TD Bank

    :D

November is starting with a BANG! That's my best box ever in terms of 90%ers!

Haven't had much time to roll search lately. While at the bank last week making a deposit, I asked if they had any "big" dollar coins and the teller handed me 5 Ikes. Upon closer inspection, 2 were silver! I have NEVER found a silver Ike in circulation before. It made me smile.

    Taking a couple days off from the hobby... Too discouraged right now... Here's my recent stats;

Last 17 boxes of halves; 13 skunks.
Last 7 boxes of nickels; 5 2011's, end to end.

Dimes are the only thing that's been even half-decent lately.

November has traditionally been a little rough on me looking at my numbers. August, December, and January tend to be my best months.

I don't know if this is just coincidence, but I seem to pull more silver from the small double stacked boxes of halves versus the long narrow single stacked boxes. Today I went through four boxes of halves and the the skunks were the long skinny and the other two were the double stack and they both produced. This has been pretty consistent for me since I started. Has anyone else seen this trend?

    I was extra motivated today.

1st box of halves (long skinny box) = skunk
2nd box of halves (long skinny box) = skunk
3rd box of halves (short double stacked box) = one '64 and three '68's
4th box of halves = one '66 and two '67's

Box of dimes = two roosies; '57' and '58 and a 2009 canadian
