1955 Penny, Die Crack? What is this?

    I have a 1955 penny with a mark in Lincolns head and I am unsure what caused this?

    Any responses are greatly appreciated. :yes:

    Sorry for the bad quality, don't have my normal camera on me so this picture was taken with a cell phone.

    I will withhold my opinion until you can post better photos taken with your normal camera.

    preliminary guess based on what i can make out. a lamination issue

    I would say it's a 'cracked skull' die crack.
