Has anyone ever heard of a 1960 Lincoln penny with the word "LIBERTY" not straight, but slightly wavy?
Believe it or not, I found one. Not sure how it happened, but the "liberty" is slightly wavy. I'll try to post a pic.
Hopefully this pic will show what I mean. I pray that this Gator fan can prove the Noles fan wrong!! [
Well the pic isn't showing liberty but it looks like the whole coin is misshapen, unless that is the camera at work. If not it could have been what contributed to the wavy liberty.
Ummm. Not to sound rude but I can't tell a darned thing from that pic. I'm not even sure there's a coin there. Try again and decrease the red wavelengths.
ok so its not me.. I was thinking it was a picture of Predator shedding his skin or something. I havent a clue as to what is in there.
I know, for some reason my pics won't upload clearly. I'll try one more time, if it doesn't work, I'll wait till tomorrow then try again. Sorry for all the messed up pics recently!
If your pics look normal to you before you upload them, then try using Photobucket or another photo site. All we get are segmented fushia colored pics.
Great! I'll deff try Photobucket. Thanks for the helpful advice. I'll try to repost several pics once I get this thing figured out.
Finally, it worked! Ok yall, let me know what you think. The word "LIBERTY" really is slightly wavy. Maybe you can tell from the pic...
I'm able to tell from the pic. I even had my wife verify it for me, & she thinks I'm nuts for my new "coin hobby". Maybe someone else will be able to see what I'm talking about! :thumb:
I know its been quite a while, but can anyone tell if the word "liberty" on this penny is wavy...other than me? & if so, is there anything to it? As in an error, or something of that nature?
