How about this 2000 D nickle...no "US UNUM" on the back?

    Another pocket finder today...this Jefferson 2000 D has E.Plurib...but is missing the "us Unum".
    Special find or otherwise?

    Struck through grease in the die.

    That appears to be caused by a grease filled die. They aren't uncommon in general (not sure about such a new one), however yours is more dramatic then most. Usually it is just a single number or a letter. That is a great find. A keeper for sure. Is it worth much? Probably not, but to the right buyer, it may be worth a few bucks.

    Whats up with the steps they look funny to me? You might need to take a better pic of your coin. Better judgment from the pros around here.

    Looks like debris from a scanner or somethin to me.
