Found me a pretty nice 1863 fatty Indian today in the dirt.

I hit an old fairground spot that keeps on producing over the years. I increased my sensitivity and slowed my swing way down and was rewarded for my efforts today.
The old fatty Indian heads usually don't hold up in the ground to well because of the nickel in them. This one held up pretty good.
Also scored 4 silver dimes. They are pretty rough and stained up but ya take what ya get. A 1946 Rosie, 1918 Merc, 1902 Barber dime and a 1909 D Barber dime. Also got a small silver ring too. Fun time. Here be the pics.

Excellent finds! Way to save those from the grave and bring them back to life.
