What the heck is this?

    I've been picking through pictures online for a while and can't seem to find out what this coin is.

    Looks like a coin of Ferdinand and Isabella, yes the two who financed Columbus. But the surfaces of this coin make me think its fake.

    Spain
    Castile and Leon
    Ferdinand and Isabella
    1474-1504
    AR Real

    Obv: Crowned Coat of Arms
    Rev: Bundle of arrows with ribbon and yoke

    It does appear to be coated with something. When looked at closely, you can see parts of the coat coming off.

    I agree, it's a cast fake. Made of base metal with a silver wash. The silver wash is what is coming off.
