Denver Mint Bag produced this one and several other filled die variations... mostly with "In God We rust".
Have about 10 with cuds on the hooves / the '4' of 1864 filled in. In all about 20 coins out of the same bag.

Didn't find any problems in the Philly bag.

This is my first time posting and it is also my first time posting up a picture. I scanned this one. I'll try for a better image next time.

    Cheers.

Thanks ! Glad I found this forum. As a way to bring myself up to speed, I started ordering the mint bags of quarters so that I could practice what I've read in my ANA grading standards book. The error coins that I found were pretty exciting finds. My wife thinks I'm nuts sitting down with a bag of coins and a loop for a couple of hours in the evening. Oh well. Are there any recommended reference books on error coins? Thanks for the input.

There are plenty of books on errors. Why don't you try browsing through this section of Coin Talk - Coin Resources. I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for ;)
