hi, i'm new to coin collecting, and never worried about errors for it is a broad spectrum. but i found a dime that looks to have a small chunk of it missing, here's some pics, although they aren't very good. thanks in advance.
We would need better photos to give you a definitive answer but from what I can see it does not appear to be a genuine clip. I do not see any sign of the Blakesley effect one would expect to see on a genuine clip of that size. Do a search on CoinTalk for "Blakesley effect" for an explanation.
Depends on the size of the clip. A small one barely gets any premium, larger clips.... a buck or two unless it's substantial then the price goes higher.
