    Anyone see the movie, Dear John, playing now on STARZ? Watched it last night, interesting movie with numismatics a theme throughout. Anyone know if that cent/nickel mule is real?

    I watched it with the wife. The coin theme was the only thing that kept me awake. Not sure if the mule is real our not. I just saw a simposons episode where Grandpa simpson gave Homer a box of uncirculated 1908 liberty dollars lol.

    Yeah, the father/son connection/history over collecting and the romance were tear jerkers at times. And, being single, Amanda Seyfried kept me awake. Also a little touched by what many service men/women and their families have and are experiencing.

    Great movie. Reminded me a lot on what my wife and I went through, just the other way around....lol
