Presidential Medallion?

    I've never seen this medal before. I don't think it was struck on a wrong-size planchet because the larger planchet wouldn't fit into the striking chamber. The only conclusion I can make is that it was supposed to be centered on this larger planchet which would make it an off-center strike of about 12% to K6.

    That's really strange ST, especially since you have three of them. It's obviously a striking error like Chris says. If you have three I'm sure there are others out there. Do you remember where you got them from?

    Would you post photos of all three, please? It's one thing if just ONE medal is accidentally struck off-center, but it's not very probable that four would be struck off-center and are EXACTLY the same. If they are identical, then I would rethink my conclusion.
