Guatemalan coins

I've recently taken an interest in coins from Central and South America. I don't really see anyone talking about these, but there's a lot of really neat designs. In particular I like Guatemala. Here are a few of its modern issues.

And here is the 25 centavos and 1 quetzal. The 1 quetzal in particular is beautiful.

Sir, I like a Guatemalan coins too. Here is mine collection.
1/2 real 1900, nickel.

 

5 & 10 centavos. Silver .720.

 

5 centavos 1966. Another wreath than on a 2000's coin.

 

25 centavos 1992.
Pay attention, please: right Indian's shoulder is a smaller than on a 1998's coin.

 

10 centavos 1994.
Another design of the arms than on the 1998's coin.

 

Siberian Man, are those varieties you mentioned or did they just change the design?

 

over the past 12 months i have really got into collecting south and central american coins, i have been lucky to have set up quite a few swaps with collectors in the region which has been very productive for me. i have some nice extras if you want them..........

 

I think that it is a small alterations of design.
