    Hi,
I need help with identifying several of my father's coins. I am new to this, but googled about some signs of fake coins, but I got a little overwhelmed of the thousands of ways to identify them, so I will post pictures of them and hopefully some of you will shortly determine if one is fake or not. Using methods found on the web I know that 2-3 from these are for sure fake, but I will admit it that I am a little lazy to check them all :D. I think some of you developed an "eye" for that type of stuff and will judge it more quickly.
Here is a link to the album with the coins - https://picasaweb.google.com/sublim...authkey=Gv1sRgCJOegcOJu873ugE&feat=directlink
view them in full screen if you want to see them more closely.
    Thank you very much! :thumb:

Sorry dude, those are all fake. Well except for the Eisenhower and Truman ones, they are just some sort of privately minted medals.

I wouldn't say fake as much as they are fantasy pieces, because many of those coins simply were not minted in the years specified. All seem to be cast metal as I see a lot of rusting.

Thank you very much all for the lightning response! Greatly appreciated ! Obviously my dad was easily deceived that they have some value. The Goloid one I found out just by measuring it's weight (it stated 14.5 on it and it weighed ~18 g according to the kitchen scale). Well, anyway! Thank you again for your kind responses! Cheers! :)
