i had one penny left in my drawer at work and noticed it was a wheatie with some color. i did not expect to find this any idea if it might fetch an MS oro just AU? value please? thanks in advance for any comments
Wow that is definitely a nice find - take pictures of the whole coin front and back and we can give you a better idea of the brade, but it looks at least AU to me with a good shot at MS.
ty for the support folks. taking pics with my camera is proving to be a problem. it says the photo type is not supported however the properties are jpeg.
High AU at a minimum, and certainly a terrific find. However, I don't see the VDB in any of the photos?
The statement that you only had one penny (cent) left in your drawer, leads me to think some kind co-worker knows you collect coins or are interested in same and they left it for you. If so, you should seek the person out and give many thanks. When I was young and foolish, I gave away numerous silver dollars to co-workers that I knew collected coins.
lol i wish my co workers liked me THAT much. i am the only one assigned to the drawer so it was lucky i was there. thats how i got into coins. i found a 09 vdb in AU in my drawer and you kind folk told me it was worth 18-20 so right there i was hooked
