    Is it possible to get a walking liberty half dollar for lower than $6?

    Besides finding one, probably not. Melt value for a half is about $11, and the scrap common dates go for about that much. Maybe a heavily damaged one, but that's about it.

    Yes........you could have when silver was $15 per ounce. Will that happen again........I doubt.

    Just remembered this one, probably worth under $6. I bought it awhile ago from a dealer, it's a failed attempt at a coin ring, think I paid a dollar or two.

    Ricky also your best bet would be ask neighbors family friends etc, that don't know about coins.

    If silver goes up, you'll be lucky to get one for $6 (or maybe $7 or $8.......).
     
  13. I am sure if you buy a lot of coins from a dealer, he/she might throw in a walker for less than $6. :smile TC
