Buy some rolls at the bank, remove pre-1982 cents. Re-wrap, bring back to the bank, buy more. And repeat.
That's what I do. I have about $30.00 or more sitting under my bed.Now I have to find a place to sell them.
I can understand the excitement with wanting to move your hoard. But copper has taken a hit recently and I doubt you will be able to get above face for what you have. When copper was up over $4 a pound, I was selling $15 lots on eBay for double face. Hold off until it reaches back to its old levels or just take what you have to the bank if you need the cash that badly. With the melting ban imposed, there's not a whole lot of premium you can ask for right now.
