My 61 proof set updated photo... Think these are somewhat better and I will post a few of the individual coins later this eve...
I'm trying to get better shots of the dime.. it is a cobalt blue on both sides.. There is color on the cent as well though it didn't show here..
Snuck in at the last minutes to get this really nice set of dimes @ ~$3.5 each... a few excellent toners mixed in there also.
So after a 6 month search, I FINALLY bought my first Matte Proof Lincoln. Please take the photo with a grain of salt as I have not seen the coin in hand -- I took the various sellers photos and tried to guess-timate what a TrueView Photo might look like -- however admittedly, at this point, this is a guess. I think Phil at TrueView will be able to bring out a lot of really exquisite color in this one -- and I will be sure to post that when I get it.
Pretty fast and sloppy camera work,, but here are the 3 nicest toners in the set... very happy to get these BU dimes at a reasonable cost off the 'bay
I think you will be surprised at how gorgeous this coin is going to be. Somebody is going to be kicking themselves that they didn't bid a little higher. I can't wait to see Phil's image of it.
Just stunning, WL... Beyond words. I'm sure with a TruView this thing would look even more stunning (if that's even possible!). They really capture those hidden hues. PLEASE post a photo of the TruView in here when you the time. -Brian
I had that 1914 Matte Proof Lincoln (shown a few posts up) posted on another board and the previous owner (Key Largo Rare Coins) posted what he called "a better photo of this coin". At first I didnt think it was the same, but the streaks at the bottom of the reverse match up ... same signature ... same coin. This is obviously the max-color lighting angle view of this coin ... quite a pop.
