lincoln memorial cent missing part of date and part of liberty

    date and liberty 1.jpg date and liberty.jpg any idea if this is in error? if so what type? any value? ty in advance for any advice you may have

    Agree with the call on this one and the sentiment ... keep searching! It took me ALOT of coins but last month I was able to attribute 2 brand new Doubled Dies via bank rolls I picked up locally at the bank.
    You never know what you'll find!

    There is a premium to this greaser, so I have to disagree with the others. When substantial design elements are missing there's many collectors that will pay a buck or two for it. This is a pretty strong example of a grease filled die....definately a keeper.
