I was thinking the other day about a coin collection that was passed down to me (bet you hear that all the time) and boredom enticed me to hop on google to see if any of them are worth anything. I am not planning to sell anything (unless the price is right) but I would like to know the value. I have a 1951 Quarter Libyan Pound from the reign of King Idris I. It is not in mint condition but it is not horrible. I would post pictures but alas, I can not find the data transfer cable, if you really need a photo to help me asses the value I can find it.

    Thanks in Advance,

    -Collin

My currency catalog doesn't go back farther than 1961, but i do know i have seen that note for sale in decent condition for between $200 and $250, if it is in similar condition to the ones for sale. if i could see a scan or pictures, i could tell you more. i am looking for a couple specific banknotes from north africa right now, so i have been looking at a lot of listings for them.

Capture.PNG Do You know what kind of coin this is (these, it's actually two of the exact same coin). It has no English writing on it, and no year date, it is some kind of Asian language though.
