1959 one crown?

    two coins in a holder here, any idea what they are made of or worth?

    On an aside, there were 6-10 Matte Proofs of this coin reported, worth several hundred dollars. However, I'm not an expert and I would fathom that you probably just have the standard issue coin.

    ah so .925 silver, good deal that is what I hoped :) as for being rough, they have been in this wall-hanging since 1956. They are most certainly uncirculated coins, just a bit grungy looking. I won't be cleaning them any time soon however ;)

    I may question the authenticity of your 1959 coins if they have been in a wall hanging since 1956. ;)
